ABOUT US
The “Runway Revolution” project is a no-filter modeling competition, open to all creeds, races, and ages (14 and older). In this pioneering project, we seek to transcend conventional beauty standards by recruiting female and male models who represent the intrinsic diversity of our society. This includes people with certain disabilities, seniors, and plus-size individuals, in addition to traditional model profiles.
Our goal goes beyond promoting fashion and clothing brands. We aspire to raise the self-esteem of segments that are often ignored, excluded and, at times, disrespected.
We believe that beauty lies in the eyes of those who perceive it, and it is crucial to recognize that beauty is not limited to youth. Our elders, for example, have an invaluable wealth to offer, including beauty.
This project not only aims to discover new talent, but also to rekindle hope in society, reminding us to seek out the beauty, talent and hidden gifts in every individual, and not just in a select few. We hope to encourage everyone involved, and the world at large, to include and honor the marginalized and forgotten. This is a call to shine a light in everyone’s hearts, reinforcing the importance of coming together in times of uncertainty and darkness.
With this project, we invite our supporters and sponsors to join us in this movement of hope and inclusion, promoting a significant change in the way beauty is perceived and celebrated.
The idea is to portray this story by creating a television program, in the format of a Reality Show. The program also aims to present the qualities and skills of the contestants, who represent a fraction of our society.
We are taking advantage of this project to promote national and international clothing brands through qualified mannequins that we will select during the competition period.
At the same time, Runway Revolution - Passarela Radical is dedicating its first season to the celebration of Angola's 50th Anniversary of Independence. Thus, we will place a strong emphasis on our tourism and national attractions.
